Grandmaster Ko’s master, Lin Ae Fong, was a 10th Degree Black Belt, the leader of the Sumo Kwon system, President of the Korean Taekwondo Headquarters, and the President of the Japanese Karate Headquarters in Korea. Master Taylor continues this legacy by fulfilling Grandmaster Ko’s hope that he “teaches many students the right way with correct technique.”

In 2009 Master Taylor received his second Master Degree from Kukkiwon under Grandmaster Min Suk Song. Grandmaster Song hails from South Korea and holds a ninth degree black belt in both Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, as well as fourth degree black belt in Judo. He is also the owner of several martial arts academies in and around Atlanta. Among his academic accomplishments are a law degree and a Master’s degree in political science. Grandmaster Song has also hosted one of the largest national Taekwondo tournaments in Georgia for several years. As a young man, his goal was to become president of South Korea. However, he put that goal aside and came to the United States in order to escape a growing lack of freedom in his homeland.
